Wen Hua Chinese School 2023 Fall Semester Course and Registration Notice

Dear Chinese School families,

We hope you are having a wonderful summer filled with adventure, family and friends. The new school year will be here soon, and we wish your child make great progress in learning Chinese in a fabulous year ahead of us, stay healthy, and be happy!

The fall semester of Chinese School will start on September 10, 2023, with a total of 13 Sunday lessons. To better serve our students and foster a better Chinese-learning environment, our school will switch to the new online Moodle system for student registration, management of teaching and student progress report. The registration of the fall semester will start at the end of August. There will be virtual trainings via ZOOM meeting for teachers and families for a total of three times to demonstrate how to use the new registration platform and to explain the various courses. Please be on the lookout for further notice about the time schedule of these trainings.

The school will continue to offer various types of language/culture courses, as well as talent classes. New for this semester, we will offer instrumental performance courses and a series of lectures on mental health of children and adolescents. Please efer to the table below for specific course and teacher information.

Special thanks to Zhu Yi, network technical support of the school, Zhu Jiexin, the network technology assistant, and Chen Hongying for spending countless hours setting up the Moodle system during the summer, and for their selfless dedication!
